Each piece is sewn with contrast stitching, visible all around, and carries the embossed Laguiole crest on the flap. A simple, careful finish, true to the spirit of our workshop in Laguiole, Aveyron, where we have shaped the folding knife since 1988.

Leather develops a patina with time and use: over the first few weeks, its shade may shift slightly before settling. That is the nature of a natural material, and part of the charm of a sheath that ages alongside your knife.
