A table that tells a story

Laying six knives with different shades around a table is adding a detail that gets noticed. Natural crushed horn, set in translucent pearly resin, creates unique tones from one handle to the next — amber honey, deep black, warm wood and iridescent hues. No two handles are exactly alike.

This set of six table knives is fully hand-crafted in our workshop in Laguiole, Aveyron, as we have done since 1988. Each piece passes through the hands of our cutlers at every stage — from fitting the liners to finishing the blade.

100% French handmade craftsmanship

The liners are fitted, the pearly resin scales positioned and riveted, then each handle is turned and sanded to its final shape. The Swedish stainless 12C27 blade is hand-polished. Stainless bolsters provide a precise join between handle and blade. The bee — the emblem of Laguiole cutlery — is hand-forged onto the spring. Nothing is outsourced.

Care & after-sales service

The pearly resin withstands everyday use but cannot go in the dishwasher — heat and detergent damage the surface and rivets. A simple rinse in warm water and immediate drying is all that is needed. The lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects on all components.
