This 12 cm two-piece model combines the essentials in a single handle: a straight blade and a sturdy corkscrew, forged as part of the same spring assembly. No gimmicks, nothing missing. A design that has endured across generations in our workshop in Laguiole, Aveyron, since 1988.

The corkscrew is built into the knife body, pivoting on the same axis as the blade. It deploys firmly, grips the bottle securely, and folds back cleanly. It is not an afterthought — it is a fully worked tool in its own right.

100% French handcraft, from our workshop

Every knife leaves our Laguiole workshop complete. Nothing is outsourced. Each piece takes approximately four hours of work, from selecting the liners to finishing the handle.

The bee is hand-forged directly into the spring — not screwed on, not glued. The spring file work is done by hand in the workshop, in the pattern of your choice (patterns 1 through 6, or plain). The handle scales are adjusted, riveted, then shaped and polished by hand through successive grains. The shepherd's cross is hand-engraved in stainless steel or brass, to match your chosen bolsters.

Care and after-sales service

The 12C27 blade rinses clean after use and wipes dry. It takes an edge well on a fine stone or leather strop. Should any play develop over time, the knife returns to the workshop for adjustment. The lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects covers all components.
